Machine Work
Some jobs are too big for shovels. We bring in the excavator, skid steer and dump truck for grading, digging, drainage, stump and brush removal, and hauling material in or out. Every job is different, so we walk the property and give you a written number before anything gets dug.

What's included
Grading and regrading
Pulling grade away from the foundation, leveling low spots and shaping a yard so water leaves instead of sitting.
Digging and trenching
Footings, drainage trenches, dry wells and downspout lines dug and backfilled.
Brush and stump removal
Overgrown corners cleared, stumps pulled and the area raked out ready for loam or seed.
Material hauling
Loam, gravel, stone and fill brought in by the truckload, and spoils hauled off site.
Careful access
We lay down protection on lawns and driveways and work with the smallest machine that will do the job.
Common questions
Still wondering something? Call Jonathan at (508) 254-7334 and get a straight answer.
Why is there no starting price?
Machine work is priced by the day and by what the site needs: access, how much material moves and where it goes. We measure, then quote in writing.
Will the machines wreck my lawn?
There is always some disturbance, but we track over mats where we can and repair ruts with loam and seed before we leave.
Do you handle permits or Dig Safe?
We call Dig Safe on every dig, and we will tell you up front if your town needs a permit for the work.
