April to October

Weeding

Mulch hides weeds for about six weeks, then they come right back through. We pull them by hand at the root, clean the cracks in walkways and stone edges, and leave the beds looking the way they did the week the mulch went down.

Clean weed-free black mulch bed along the front of a house

What's included

01

Hand pulling at the root

Weeds pulled with the root instead of snapped off at the surface, so they stay gone longer.

02

Beds, edges and cracks

Mulch beds, stone borders, walkway joints, patio seams and driveway edges all cleaned out.

03

Bed line touch-up

Grass creeping into the beds cut back so the edge reads clean again.

04

Debris removed

Everything we pull leaves with us, and the hardscape gets blown off before we go.

Common questions

Still wondering something? Call Jonathan at (508) 254-7334 and get a straight answer.

How often should beds be weeded?

Most properties look best on a monthly visit from April into October. A single clean-up visit works too if you just want a reset before company comes.

Do you spray?

Mostly we pull by hand, which is safer around plantings and around kids and dogs. We will spot treat pavement cracks if you want it.

What does the starting price cover?

$275 covers a typical front and side bed set on a quarter-acre property. Heavily overgrown beds or a full property take longer and we price them after a look.
